About Heal & Go₂
Heal & Go₂ Medical is building a new model for the delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) in the UK.
Our aim is to make medically governed HBOT more accessible by developing hospital-based Centres of Excellence, supported by experienced healthcare professionals, clear clinical pathways and strong relationships with referring clinicians.
Every patient will be medically assessed before treatment is considered, and all treatment will operate within the clinical governance framework led by our Medical Director.
We are currently establishing our first centre and are not yet open for treatment.
Who we are
Heal & Go₂ Medical is a trading name of HEAL & GO LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16424229. Our registered office is 13 Portland Road, Birmingham, England, B16 9HN.
We have created Heal & Go₂ to develop a medically led, hospital-based approach to hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Rather than operating HBOT as an isolated treatment service, our model is designed around clinical assessment, appropriate referral pathways, medical oversight and collaboration with the healthcare professionals already involved in a patient's care.
Our ambition is to establish a network of hospital-based Centres of Excellence where HBOT can be delivered within a professional healthcare environment.
How the service will work once we open
Heal & Go₂ treatment will be delivered through hospital-based Centres of Excellence.
Patients will be able to approach us directly or be referred by healthcare professionals including GPs, consultants, physiotherapists, rehabilitation teams, chiropractors and sports clinicians.
Regardless of how someone reaches us, the clinical pathway will remain the same.
Every patient will undergo an appropriate medical assessment before HBOT is prescribed. The assessment will consider the person's medical history, the reason treatment is being considered and whether HBOT is appropriate for them.
Where treatment is considered appropriate, the patient will receive a personalised treatment plan and an explanation of the proposed course of HBOT, including its potential role, limitations, risks and costs.
Treatment will then take place within one of our Centres of Excellence under the supervision of trained clinical and hyperbaric personnel.
Where a patient has been referred by another healthcare professional, we intend to work collaboratively with that clinician and, where appropriate, provide information about the patient's treatment and progress.
Who is responsible
Clinical responsibility for Heal & Go₂ Medical is led by our Medical Director, Dr Anil Dasineni.
Our Medical Director oversees the clinical framework within which HBOT is assessed, prescribed and delivered and helps ensure that patient care remains at the centre of the service.
Jonathan Spodofora is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Heal & Go₂ Medical, responsible for the overall strategy and development of the organisation.
Tim Robins is Chief Operating Officer and Lead HBOT Operator, responsible for the operational development and delivery of our hyperbaric services.
The decision to recommend HBOT is a clinical one.
Treatment will only be offered where the medical team considers it appropriate following assessment. The ability or willingness to pay privately does not determine whether a patient is accepted for treatment.
How the information on this website is checked
We believe information about HBOT should be clear, balanced and transparent.
Clinical content published by Heal & Go₂ Medical is reviewed through our clinical governance process before publication. Our condition pages identify when they were reviewed and are designed to explain both the potential role of HBOT and the limitations of the available evidence.
Where UK guidance does not recommend, routinely commission or support the use of HBOT for a particular condition, we aim to make that position clear.
We will continue to review and update our clinical information as guidance, research and our services develop.
Further information about this process can be found on our Clinical Governance page.

Common questions
Is Heal & Go₂ open yet?
Not yet.
We are currently establishing our first hospital-based Centre of Excellence and developing the clinical, operational and governance systems required to deliver the service.
Once the centre is ready to receive patients, its location and opening information will be published on this website.
In the meantime, you can register your interest and we will let you know when medical assessments and treatment become available.
Is Heal & Go₂ part of the NHS?
No. Heal & Go₂ Medical is an independent healthcare company.
Our services will include privately funded treatment.
As Heal & Go₂ develops, we also intend to work with hospitals, clinicians and healthcare organisations to explore appropriate referral and commissioned-care pathways where these are available.
Any NHS-funded treatment would depend upon an appropriate NHS referral, commissioning or contractual pathway and should not be assumed simply because treatment is provided by Heal & Go₂ Medical.
More information about private treatment, insurance and access to HBOT can be found on our Costs and Access page.
Who decides whether I can have HBOT?
HBOT will not be provided simply because someone requests treatment.
Every patient must first complete an appropriate medical assessment.
The hyperbaric medical team will consider the patient's medical history, the reason HBOT is being considered, any relevant risks or contraindications and the available clinical information before deciding whether treatment is appropriate.
If HBOT is considered suitable, an individual treatment plan can then be agreed.
If the medical team does not consider HBOT appropriate, treatment will not be offered.
